A San-Francisco based ‘Ripple Lab Inc., is setting up its new branch in Shanghai, China. Although the firm didn’t reveal anything via its social pages or blog, it does clear from the Ripple hiring page.

As per company’s career page, it is quite clear that the firm is opening up its new branch in Shanghai, China. It comes into the picture with the new hiring of a country manager, which requires a high level of autonomy, entrepreneurial energy, and business savvy skills. The announcement reads that;

Ripple is sharpening its focus on the dynamic payments landscape in China! We are looking for our first set of feet on the ground in Shanghai to launch and operationalize our brand new Shanghai office. While you won’t be charged with doing this on your own, this role requires an extremely high level of autonomy, entrepreneurial energy, and business savvy in order to smoothly bring a new international office online.

Nevertheless, Ripple on its recent video ‘The Ripple Drop Episode’ featured ‘Jim Chauncey-Kelly’ who discussed on ‘global Ripple hiring’. Mr. Jim notes that the firm is heading up with more than 40 open roles globally. Among those all, Mr.Jim is specifically focusing on ‘Integration Engineers’ to assist Ripple’s customers towards on-site implementation of company’s product globally.

Moreover, Ripple is presently existed in San Francisco, New York, London, Sydney, Mumbai, Singapore and Sao Paulo with over 100 customers worldwide. The firm further adds that;
