Ripple published its traditional quarterly report, evidencing considerable growth thanks to its successful business policies. According to the Q1 2019 XRP Markets Report, the company revealed to its clients they managed to sell over 169.42 million worth of XRP dollars, which represents 0.32% of the global volume of the token.

In the report, Ripple compared its results with those of the last quarter, showing a substantial increase in both direct sales and programmatic sales:

Ripple
explained that to date they have established strategic partnerships with more
than 200 clients, who are active users of its various technological solutions
(xRapid, xCurrent and xVia).

At the start of the quarter, Ripple announced RippleNet surpassed more than 200 customers worldwide, with the addition of 13 new financial institutions that signed up for the company’s payment network. These companies include Euro Exim Bank, SendFriend, JNFX, FTCS, Ahli Bank of Kuwait, Transpaygo, BFC Bahrain, ConnectPay, GMT, WorldCom Finance, Olympia Trust Company, Pontual/USEND and Rendimento.

In the report, Ripple also revealed that so far this year, 19 new exchanges listed XRP, increasing the number of total exchanges with this crypto available for trading to a number close to 120.

Ripple Is Doing Fine, But JP Morgan Is Also Quite Successful

While
these numbers show a fairly optimistic outlook and clearly reflect the success
of this company, it is important to note that the competition does not want to
be overshadowed. Not only SWIFT is focused on the development of a technological
solution based on blockhain technologies, JP Morgan also revealed an important
list of banks willing to use its Interbank Information Network.

The IIN is a P2P Network developed by JP Morgan with blockchain technology. In an annoucement published on its official website, the bank mentions that the IIN is growing and slowly becoming a robust ecosystem.

The list
revealed by JP Morgan includes 198 clients from all over the world. The bank
explains that this number will continue to grow, emphasizing that as more
institutions join, the efficiency of the network will increase considerably:

“The more banks that join the network, the more dramatic the reduction in payment delays,” said John Hunter, Head of Global Clearing for Treasury Services. “As the network scales, our clients’ payments will be processed faster with less operational expense.”
