I’m not going to mince words here. Kathy Griffin disgusts me. In the wake of an ISIS leader repeatedly sending out videos of himself decapitating people as part of the group’s sick propaganda, Griffin thought it funny to draw a parallel to President Trump.

Who can forget that 2017 photo of her with that faux head of the president dripping “blood?” She sat down with CBS for an interview this week to remove any doubt about whether she regretted the repulsive stunt.
She doubled down, proving once more that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
Kathy Griffin Frames Self as Victim in Trump Head Debacle
While much of the outrage centered on her choosing to hold Trump’s head in such a disgusting manner, the stunt sank even further into the mire.
Griffin’s attempt to be funny hearkened back to Jihadi John who called President Barack Obama by name before at least one beheading he videoed.
Beheadings were ISIS’ “calling card,” which Griffin adopted in her grotesque attempt at comedy – itself blinded by hatred of Trump.
Nearly two years later, Griffin still bizarrely frames herself as the victim. She whines about being unable to book gigs at some venues, supposedly ending up on the no-fly list, and allegedly receiving death threats. CNN even fired her from their New Year’s Eve special.
In another show of her oblivion to the gravity of her stunt, she said about CNN:
“And, you know, they just couldn’t get over it.”
Griffin imagines herself to be some kind of a victim – maybe even a hero!
“I never in my lifetime thought anything like this could happen. But the most important thing that I hope people see is that, long after I kick the bucket, they see the crazy red-haired lady didn’t go down.”
‘Comedian’ Griffin Rakes in Profits While Trump Critics Gawk at Her Sick Stunts
Nearly two years later, Griffin proved she still doesn’t get it. Despite all that jazz about what happened to her after she decided to hold that photo, she’s still in ignorant bliss.
She was asked in a very roundabout way if she had any regrets and replied:
“No ’cause I’ve learned so much.”
Learned? Maybe she meant “earned so much.”
Since that image went viral, her response has run the gamut of any which way the wind blows. She’s apologized, “cried” a little, and doubled down.
Now, she boasts about living in a multimillion house and grossing millions of dollars in ticket sales since that photo went viral.
The Worst Part: Griffin Would Do it Again
No doubt about it, many despise President Trump. Many have said things about him and his family that have cost them their jobs, friends, and reputations. Just as many have thought, “Was that man worth all this?”
For Kathy Griffin, it’s time to make more money!
“I thought: ‘Well, I know how to be funny, and I know how to get people to buy tickets.’ Because I’m pretty sure there’s a whole bunch of countries overseas that really don’t like Trump. And that’s how it all started.”
So, hey, for a buck, she’ll traipse around whatever country will gawk at ISIS-inspired images of Trump. No matter that the image hearkens to one of the darkest terrorist periods in history.
What’s the lesson learned here? Push the envelope and then see what flies as an “apology” when you mess up. In the interview, the 58-year-old “comedian” said she was done apologizing. I’m still waiting for the first one!
What’s more sickening is that her moral compass continues to point due south – she’d do it again.
And she’ll have plenty of audiences who’ll pay her for the privilege to watch.
