Intro into the Company
Investous is a trading name operated by F1Markets Limited, a Cyprus Investment Firm, authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. The broker operates mainly for European citizens and is in compliance with the latest ESMA regulation, categorizing its clients as retail or professional, based on a list of requirements.
Forex, cryptocurrencies, commodities, stocks, ETFs, and indices-related CFDs are currently included in the Investous offer, along with other trading features which we’ll discuss in our review. In general, the company is well regulated and reliable, given that European regulation is now very restrictive when it comes to CFD trading.
Investous fits the pattern set out by most of the other popular brokerage companies and relies on two important trading platforms. Firstly, there is a web-based platform developed by the company. Its structure is intuitive and easy to use by beginners. Most of its features are in common with other platforms, but there are some distinctions. Pip value for each instrument is mentioned, while the “Our Clients’ Choice” indicator stands on the left side of the chart. It shows how other Investous clients are trading each particular instrument.
Secondly, there’s the popular MT4 platform, which does not need any new introduction. It continues to be trending among traders and even now it manages to provide all that a trader needs to perform at his peak on a daily basis. The MT4 is also available both from desktop and via a mobile device (smartphone, tablet).
Traders who want to work with Investous, can choose between four different account types: Basic, Gold, Platinum, and VIP. The minimum deposit for a basic account is 250 euros, but trading conditions are not so great when it comes to spreads and other useful features. Conditions get better for each of the other accounts but will require a much bigger initial deposit.
What’s good about Investous is that it allows access to the Trading Central feature for all its clients, no matter what type of account they hold. The leverage is capped at 30:1 for retail traders and goes as high as 400:1 for professional traders. Spreads are different for each type of account.
Other than the popular Trading Central feature, Investous offers access to daily SMS alerts, daily news, monthly webinars, of free withdrawals. It is one of the companies that provides a wide variety of educational materials, wanting to help beginners learn to trade.
