Justin Sun announces that TRX coin is now accepted for booking hotels
with Travala.com blockchain platform in 210 countries
Good news came for the Tron community over the weekend. The Tron CEO announced that TRX now has been added by the Travala blockchain service that works with hotels across the globe.
Book your room with TRX and other crypto
Travala.com blockchain company works with over 500,000 hotels all over the world in around 210 countries.
This company has spread the word that from now on its clients can book hotel rooms using the native coin of the Tron platform (TRX). The coin has now been added to the list of other crypto assets Travala.com works with.
Justin Sun confirmed the news in his official Twitter
account.
Travala.com pushes crypto adoption forward
With servicing around 568,000 hotels in over 80,000 destinations, the company intends to innovate the travel industry and implement crypto to make hotel booking easier for the crypto community.
The company plans to bring together blockchain
and structures that use tokenized incentives. Apart from TRX, Travala.com
accepts quite a number of other digital currencies – both from the top ten list
(BTC, XRP, EOS, BNB, etc), stablecoins (DAI, TUSD) and such coins as NANO, DOGE.
The company is pushing crypto adoption forward, introducing it into the popular industry, therefore helping the crypto space and awareness of this new sphere around the world rise on a large scale.
Overall, TRX becomes the 15th coin Travala.com has adopted. Along with Tron, the company has recently added the AVA coin to its list – its own crypto token. As per CoinMarketCap.com, it currently sits on position #498 and is trading at $0,109726.
However, the company works not only with crypto payments. It also uses traditional electronic payment services, such as Visa, Mastercard, PayPal.
This TRX adoption will hardly give any major rise to the Tron’s price or the market cap value. However, at press time, the coin is demonstrating a slight growth along with the rest of the top ten coins (except USDT), enjoying the sea of green.
Airbnb also accepts crypto
Recently, the Swedish Bitrefill startup announced that it had started selling gift cards for Airbnb for three top coins – BTC, ETH and LTC. Gift cards are also available to buy with DASH and DOGE.
However, so far this service can be used by US citizens only.
