Ledger Wallet protects your bitcoins

Bminer is a closed source miner with an inbuilt 2% Dev fee*. It is available both for Windows and Linux (detailed requirements below). Initially designed to mine Ethash and Equihash only, Bminer is now famous for being arguable the faster Bytom (BTM) miner there is.

(*) The dev fee depends on the mined algorithm:

AlgorithmDeveloper Fee
  • Tensority (Bytom)
  • Equihash
  • Zhash
2%
Ethash and Blake (dual mining)1.3%
Ethash0.65%

Bminer 10.2.0 versus NebuTech BTMiner 8.0

Compared to its closer competitor, Bminer offers lower dev fee (2% instead of 3%) and experimental hashing methods that allow it to notably outperform the NebuTech BTMiner 8.0 by offering up to 15% better hashrate. The newest cards get affected a bit less, with the GTX 1080Ti hashing only ~5-7% better with the Bminer 10.1.0 than with the NebuTech BTMiner 8.0.

Version 10.2.0 Improvements

The miner enjoys constant updates from its active team of developers. The latest release fixes a bug that made BTM mining hashrate degrade over time. Compared to the release 9.0.0 (which is arguable the most popular one), Bminer now also supports Zhash based coins, offers an up to 70% improvement in mining speed and features scheme suggestions in scripts for ETH mining.

If you have been experiencing issues with editing *.bat files in Windows, this latest release has got that fixed too. It also supports the reported hashrate feature on ETH pools. Support all the other

Equihash 144,5 based coins besides BTG, using equihash1445 scheme and -pers config.

In Conclusion

The Bminer is getting a lot of updates lately. Every new release so far grants the miner a significant increase in Bytom mining hashrate, which made the Bminer 10.2.0 the faster miner for Bytom to the date.
